Payment is due prior to, or at time of, service. Payments are accepted in the form of Chase QuickPay, personal checks, and money orders. Cash is not accepted. Hourly rates vary and are subject to change.

Chase QuickPay is free to use and all you need is a checking account, a smart phone, and an email address. No one can automatically "charge" your account. You control every payment. Payments are processed using an email address. Pay right from your computer or smartphone. You do not have to be a Chase Bank customer. Sign up at https://www.chase.com/online-banking/quickpay. Our QuickPay payment address is [email protected]. Please put the date of service in the memo area to avoid confusion.
Payment Instructions
Payment is due on the day of service. Please follow these guidelines when paying for your tutoring services.
*Do not pay in cash. Tutors do not accept cash payments.*
*Personal/business checks are accepted.
1) Make checks out to “Sharon Trexler.” Please do not make them out to “Trex Tutoring,” or “Sharon Trexler Tutoring.” IMPORTANT: Write the session date(s) in the memo area.
2) Checks must be sealed in a security envelope (with the colored inside) or, if not available, wrapped inside folded paper placed inside an envelope, or simply folded in half inside the envelope. Always write your official signature over the seal of the envelope. This prevents tampering and keeps your account information more safe. Write the student’s name on the front of the envelope. Hand it to the tutor after all this is complete.
*Money Orders/Cashier’s checks are accepted.*
1) Please follow the directions above. Note that the address and signature of the purchaser must be filled out. Keep your stubs or make copies please.
*Chase QuickPay is accepted.*
Chase QuickPay is free to customers and non-customers of Chase Bank and only requires you to have a checking account, email, and a mobile phone. Credit cards cannot be used through QuickPay, only checking accounts. No personal account information is passed on to Trex Tutoring. You do not have to be a Chase customer. Use [email protected] as the payment email address. IMPORTANT: Place the date(s) of service in the memo area. Payment must be received on day of service.
Late Payment Policy:
* Payment is due on, or prior to, the day of service.
* 1st late payment. The deposit will be forfeited to pay for that session. Another deposit will be required to begin services again.
*2nd late payment, the deposit is forfeited again, and a $10 fee will be assessed.
*Returned checks (NSF) will be assessed a $12 fee. Personal checks will no longer be accepted from a client with an NSF check. Full payment must be received before continuing services.
*Late payments delay tutor pay. Tutors have the option to cease helping a student at any time if payments are an ongoing issue.
*There are no exceptions to these policies. We cannot give service without receipt of on-time payment.
For a smooth tutoring experience, please abide by these payment policies.
*Payments are for a one hour minimum, despite the length of session. If more than an hour is necessary, you may pay in increments of 15 minutes. Divide your hourly rate by 4 to get the 15 min rate, 2 for the 30 min rate. Thanks!
Very personal information, such as your social security number, driver's license number, or bank account numbers, will never be required.
