NATALIE B.
NATALIE B.
Congrats Natalie for being chosen as a highlighted tutor! We really appreciate your hard work and dedication to helping your students!
1) What is your favorite thing about tutoring?
My favorite thing about tutoring is helping a student to understand the material in a different way and watching as the “a ha” moment
happens, and they finally understand the material.
2) What are your preferred ages and subjects to tutor?
I don’t have an age preference when it comes to tutoring. Instead, I prefer to have a student who has a great attitude, which comes
at any age. Any student who is willing to come to a session prepared and with a “can do” attitude is my favorite type of student.
I prefer to tutor math and reading comprehension/writing.
3) Briefly describe a memorable moment while tutoring.
This past summer, I started tutoring a new student who had a very low grade in his class. By the end of the summer his poor
grade was now an “A,” and he received a personal kudos for his great work. That was a great and proud moment for me.
4) What are the hobbies, activities, foods, and places you enjoy?
I am vegetarian, so I love anything with plenty of vegetables. I love to travel, run, and to dance.
5) Something interesting about yourself…
I am currently working on my second Masters Degree in Health Law.
6) Your current education and degrees:
I have a Bachelors Degree from the University of Rochester and a Masters Degree in Health Management.
